Atelier Saman Amel outerwear pieces are produced in a small family-owned workshop in Naples, Italy, with over 40 years of experience. While Naples is widely known for its tailoring, the region carries a rich tradition of garment making beyond tailoring and is widely considered a historical epicenter of craft in Europe. Each made to measure outerwear piece is cut individually by a master cutter and handled with great care and precision throughout the production process.

Materials
The Atelier Saman Amel outerwear program utilizes only the absolute finest yarns to create garments of the absolute highest quality. Yarns are developed uniquely from scratch or sourced in close collaboration with local experts in Naples, Italy. With a focus on cashmere, fine wools and technical nylon the outerwear program caters to both elegance and functionality.
Craft and Origin
As with all Atelier Saman Amel Italian ateliers, the Neapolitan outerwear workshop adheres to the single unit production model - meaning that each piece is produced individually which puts the operation in stark contrast to conventional fashion industry practices. The single unit production approach ensures that every garment is made with purpose and with a “zero vision” for over-production otherwise commonplace in the clothing industry. Furthermore, the model puts emphasis on the people in the workshop and enables them to work to perfect the garments in a manageable pace - focusing on quality over quantity.
