Made-to-measure garments are unique and so is the process of creating them. In essence, each client relationship is personal and the Atelier Saman Amel team always cater to the needs of each individual client. Working exclusively on demand means that all garments are produced individually for a specific client, hence, all Atelier Saman Amel garments are available as made to measure.

The process generally consists of three meetings where the initial meeting is dedicated to building a unique fit for the client as well as to a dialogue on aesthetic aspects such as fabrics, style and design. Subsequent meetings are dedicated to fitting the garments while further optimizing the client’s unique fit and deepening the dialogue.
The longer the relationship, the smoother the process. This means that the initial order takes slightly longer to be perfected while following orders are placed more easily either physically or from remote.

The initial meeting generally takes around one hour and following meetings around half an hour - all depending on the needs of the specific client.

From start to finish, the made to measure process takes from six to eight weeks. International clients can expect a slightly longer delivery time depending on the trunk show schedule.

Atelier Saman Amel never delivers a made to measure garment without having inspected the fit. For the first order, the process generally involves three meetings where the two latter are devoted to fittings. Once a unique fit is perfected, only one fitting is required.

The design and style of each made to measure garment is the result of a discussion between the client and the Atelier Saman Amel team. An innumerable amount of alterations can be made on the designs although all in line with the overall brand aesthetic.

Yes. The fabric will have to undergo quality control and if no issues are found with the cloth it can be used to make into a garment. Please reach out for advice on the length needed for the piece you are considering.

All finely crafted things needs maintenance, as do Atelier Saman Amel garments. Alterations or reparations on existing garments are cared for by local craftspeople in Stockholm.

Existing clients are more than welcome to order made to measure garments from remote via dialogue with a team member. First time clients need a perfected fit before being able to place remote order.

All Atelier Saman Amel products are crafted by highly skilled artisans that work primarily or exclusively by hand producing the garments. A suit takes around 35 to 40 hours to complete.

The entire Atelier Saman Amel offering is available on display permanently in the Stockholm atelier as well as during trunk shows.

Appointments with Atelier Saman Amel can be made in Stockholm as well as during trunk shows in London and NYC. Requests on additional locations are happily received.

A trunk show is an opportunity for international clients to order custom made garments and to develop a personal relationship with the Atelier Saman Amel team. A presentation with information covering the process, pricing and other details will be sent out prior to the initial meeting. Dates for upcoming trunk shows are continuously published here.

Booking an appointment is mandatory during trunk shows. Appointments are generally made in advance, however, if slots are available appointments can be made during the course of a trunk show.

Completing a purchase is never mandatory during any appointment. The team will, however, happily answer any questions clients may have prior to or in between meetings in order to make the process as convenient as possible.
